So mom came into town on the 28th and just left this morning back to Michigan. We had a great time with her. We didn't really have anything much planned... just a lot of hanging out with Baby Ethan and relaxing. We also had a list of things that we wanted mom to help us out with and we got pretty much all of those done. As a bonus I was also playing Rainbow 6 Vegas online with Jamie each night until after midnight!
The first day we spent getting ready for a block watch meeting that I was hosting at the house. We had almost 15 people show up for the meeting! On Friday we went to the Chandler Mall and did a lot of shopping for baby clothes, baby toys, and some big boy toys as well (I got to go to Best Buy and the Apple Store). Saturday Leann and mom headed off to Cori's baby shower and Jamie came over and help me organize the garage a bit. He brought with him a giant tool chest that Dad had given me last Christmas but needed some fixing up. Jamie cleaned it up and organized all my tools. He also helped me put the halloween crates up in the attic and take down the Christmas crates. Lastly we moved the Christmas tree into the house. Sunday we cleaned up a bit, Direct TV came and installed satilite, we watched a lot of movies and we also went to home depot to buy some stuff to finish working on Ethan's room as well as the recovering of the kitchen stools. Mom did a fantastic job recovering the stools with a suede material and then a thick transparent plastic layer to keep them from being stained again. We spent Monday playing with Ethan in the morning and then Jamie came down in the afternoon and we ended up working on Ethan's room in the whole afternoon and into the evening. We got lots of good stuff done on his room. We put up the curtains that mom made (as well as hung the curtain rods), we put stickers and picture frames up, and we we have a giant wallpapered Superman on the wall now! Last night Jamie and mom said their goodbyes and Leann and I said goodbye to mom this morning as she made the long trek back to Lansing Michigan.
Anywho,
That's all for now.
