Tall chair

Ethan didn't want to go in his high chair again, so I grabbed one of
the taller stools and put him up to the counter. He loved it! He was
able to eat with his cousins at the counter. Now we need to get these
chairs covered in plastic....

Lego man!

Ethan was eating lunch with Lego man today. He even tried to give him
some food. Ethan likes to ask for a "bite" of food now. He is
sitting in the stool next to his high chair. He didn't want to sit in
his high chair today...but was really excited to sit in the stool.
What a big boy!

South mountain hike

We took ethan for a hike this morning instead of the usual walk of the
neighborhood. Josh borrowed a backpack for ethan from a friend.
Thanks Mitch! It worked out pretty well. He was tired from the
repetitve motion and was trying to fall asleep, but that wasn't
working for him.

This was the trail we went on. Nothing super difficult. We wanted to
go on the same one we had done before, but the roads were blocked off
for bicyclists...there were quite a few if them.

Hike

Wonder pets!

Ethan thought it would be good to put a hat on lenny's head. Ethan
has started really liking his stuffed animals and blanket. He says
nite nite to all the animals in his bed - teddy bear, cow, nemo,
monkey and tonight the lamb for the first time. He hugged him even
when I put him down in bed.

He is usually in a good mood in the morning and greets you with a
Hello. He wants to take his blanket with him out of bed. He is
really growing up!

Leann took this photo earlier in the week when I called her on my way to work and told her to go outside and check out the fantastic sunrise that she was missing! It was quite a site to see! I really liked how this photo turned out. I was worried she wouldn't be able to get a good shot from the backyard but I think it turned out pretty well!

Mom, I don't want to go to school!

Ethan did not have the best morning today. No matter what we tried we
could not make him happy...bananas, cheerios, raisins, drink, toys...
He resisted everything to get ready for school and getting in his
carseat. He is at daycare now...so I'm sure he will be happier. They
always say he is cheerful there.

Good morning! Ethan woke up happy this morning. Ethan is waving Hi!
