Bay Area Trip Slideshow!

Google

Driving around today and saw google buildings. That is one of the
cool things about being in this area...you see all these big buildings
for Internet companies. We passed Yahoo everyday and of course we
were close to Intel.

Extra Spooky

We got out to our car after the tour and saw circles on the
windows....very strange...

Spooky night!

So last night Leann and I left Ethan with his grandma and headed off
to a night time flash light only tour of the haunted Winchester
mystery house. Cool stuff but I'm not sure it was worth the money.

A day by the bay!

...and what a great day it was! We visited China town, a view of the
bay from lookout point, then off to pier 39 where we spent lots of
time at the aquarium, and had a fantastic lunch at bubba gump's with
super view of the bay and Alcatraz! We ended this day by having a
fantastic dinner with some great friends in San Mateo!

Braving windy SanFran

So we are walking around pier 39 in San francisco and it is very windy
and cold! Ethan keeps taking off his hoody! We are having a great time
and right now we ate waiting to get into bubba gump Shrimp for lunch.

iPhone App

This is a totally useless app I bought for my phone... Couldn't help
putting a pic of ethan in a snow globe that you can shake the snow
around...I was hoping it would keep ethan entertained a bit, but that
doesn't seem to work. Oh well.

Happy Birthday!

Ethan turned 1 on Wednesday! We are here in San Francisco on
vacation. We were very fortunate that Ethan's grandma could come
along. Ethan hung out all day with Grandma and colored for the first
time. We had a great dinner at Birks and as you can see in the pic,
he fell asleep on the way home. A good ending to a long day!

Lunchtime fun

Grandma is helping Ethan color! I think he looks like a sherrif with
that napkin bib...

So Ethan had a great Birthday party this weekend to celebrate him turning one this Wednesday. We had a great turn out. You can see him here wearing a hat that his good friend Lily gave him for his birthday! It fits just perfect and he loves it! Check out his big grin and GQ pose! For those of you that have "Friended" me on Flickr you can see the rest of them there.

Bath time!

Ethan was super cute in the tub, so I had to send a picture to Josh.
Josh normally gives the baths, but he has been playing volleyball on
Thursdays. So it is nice to give him baths a couple times a week. He
is so much fun! I can't believe he turns 1 next week...

Wow! What a great day we had last Saturday! The weather was gorgeous and we headed off to our old neighborhood to hang out at the outdoor mall! We walked around and it felt like we were shopping around in a small town! Ethan zoomed around in this little stroller we got him. He was such a good boy!

So we put Ethan into a fantastic Halloween costume last night! The original one we bought him didn't fit but a friend at work came through with a loaner! What do you think? Leave some comments... is he a cutie or what?

Yummy Cheese

Ethan was trying to get into the cheese while we were walking around
costco. He must get that from me....I love colby jack cheese!

Ice cream

Ethan had his first taste of ice cream today. We thought he was close
enough to being 1. He made funny faces, but he smacked his lips to
get more!

Teeth!

We were out at San Tan Village walking around today. It is an outdoor
mall by our old house. We were changing ethan's diaper when we
noticed that he actually has 3 teeth coming in on the top. One more
teething episode over with...

Yard work

Ethan and I decided to do some yard work because the weather was still
nice. There was plenty to do!

Park Time

Since it was such nice weather we decided to go to the park. Cori and
i took the kiddos - Kade, Keegan, and Ethan. Ethan had fun going down
the slides (with an adult of course), hopping up the steps, walking in
the sand with aunt Cori, running in the grass (I was holding his
hands) and chasing his cousin kade. It was so nice to be outside!

Ethan did awesome walking in shoes for the first time. He thought it
was really strange at first and stumbled a couple of times. He
started walking really fast at one point and I had to hurry and catch
him before he fell into the sand.

Ethan also had a good day at daycare. His teacher said that he
listens really well. They put down a bottle for another kid and he
started to go for it. They told him "no" and he walked away from it.
He is such a good boy!

Nice weather!

Today we had nice weather for a change. I am so excited for the nice
weather! The other day I was on my way home and it was already
starting to get dark. It reminded me that the holidays are right
around the corner! I sang "it's beginning to look a lot like
Christmas..." when I got home. Holidays are so much fun. Lots of
family drama. :)
