Slobber Monkey

Ethan has started slobbering a lot more, so I thought I would try a
teething ring. He doesn't quite know how to hold it yet. He
definately wasn't sure about it when it was cold.

So little Ethan is sick today. This is my set up to accomadate it...

It's been a while....

Since we've blogged anything that wasn't a picture with a quick note...

A lot has been going on lately! Tiffany, Robert and their 4 month old daughter are in town staying with us for a few more days. Tiffany and MaKenna have been here for the last 3 weeks or so. Since we last blogged Cori and Danon have had a healthy little baby boy born into the world. His name is Keegan Jackson and weighed in at 7pounds, 4ounces at birth. About that time the germs in the house started to have a party and they've been jumping from person to person every day! I've been sick for almost 2 weeks now and it seems like everyone in the house has a little something going on. Leann and Ethan have been staying strong the whole time with out getting sick thank goodness. Hopefully that continues! Other than that we've beens spending our time working on block watch stuff, working with Little Ethan on rolling over, and just trying to stay healthy. We've got lots of good pictures from the last few weeks that I've posted below.

Swinging Fun!

Ethan had a really good time swinging in the back yard today. He was
out there for half an hour. It is a good thing his daddy thought
about him getting a sun burn & brought him inside.

Snoozer

Ethan started covering his eyes when he falls asleep. He is usually
turned on his side a little. He is really good at taking naps &
falling asleep.

Hands

Ethan just started holding his hands! He is really interested in
everyone's hands and is easily entertained by wiggling your fingers.
He is so cute in his cat in the hat onesie. He was home sick on
Thursday and Friday, but he is feeling better today.

Multi-Baby Photo Shoot...

Today at the Cork / Law household Leann and Tiffany held a baby photoshoot... completely spontaneous I'm sure... Anywho, there's the output... I take no credit for the wonderful photography!

Ethan is always happy in the morning. He was so good today and was
content laying in his crib while mommy was getting ready. He was
super cute this morning!

January 13th 2007 - 1 Year Ago Today!

Well, 1 year ago today Cori, Danon, Leann, and I were headed off to to the mountain to go skiing! We went for a weekend trip to Durango Colorado where we had a great time vacationing and Skiing at Purgatory for the day. It was Leann's first time ever Skiing and I hadn't been in probably 7 years.... so it was definitly an adventure! I learned what altitude/exercise induced asthma was (I wheezed for 5 days after this trip to the mountain!), but we still had a great time. The mountain was covered in fresh powder and the trip up to the mountain was interesting as the snow was coming down like crazy. Anywho, I thought I would post a few pictures from that trip here today.

Busy busy....

Tons of stuff going on this week! We've got Tiffany and little Makenna here for 3 weeks, which as you can see from the picture has Zeus very pooped! We've got 2 nights of block watch meetings, parties to go to, parties at our house, friends from out of town coming in, and oh yeah... we are back at work now! My week is going to be super busy at work and Leann's will be picking up as well. So anywho, that's the status update for now.... will be posting some more pics of Ethan on here soon.

Best car ride!

It was ethan's first car ride whithout crying and screaming while
being awake...he was probably just bored back there. He lived
batting at the things swinging and playing with the mirror.

First day at daycare

It is ethan's first day at daycare! He was in a good mood and smiled
a few times for miss sheila. I dropped him off an hour later than I
wanted...guess I need practice at waking up early. I tried to get a
smiling photo, but he moves his arms in front of his face when he
smiles. Now I have a whole day to run errands and clean up the
house....where do I begin...

Back from sabbatical!

Last evening out...

Tomorrow I go back to work and Ethan does his first day in day care!
It's pretty crazy how fast this sabbatical has gone by!
